AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Mechanical Fitter for Indian Queens Substation.
The role will include:
- Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment
- Installation of control and protection equipment
- Installation of earthing systems
- Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar, disconnectors and switchgear
- Maintenance of high voltage equipment
- Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
- Receiving high voltage documents
You must have experience as an M&E Fitter, working on Substations, your National Grid Authorised Persons Ticket, along with having all the relevant qualifications and competencies for this role.
Start: 23rd June 2025
Duration: 3 weeks, possible extension
Rate: £350 per day
