AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Electrician/Wireman for work alongside our client at Swansea North Substation.
Duties will include:
- Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment
- Installation of control and protection equipment
- Installation of earthing systems
- Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar, disconnectors and switchgear
- Maintenance of high voltage equipment
- Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
- Receiving high voltage documents
You must have experience in a substation environment, have your NG Persons ticket, Manual Handling and all other relevant tickets to apply for the role.

Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £32 Per Hour, Paid CIS
