AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Mechanical Fitter for work alongside our client at Melksham Substation.
About the role:
- Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment
- Installation of control and protection equipment
- Installation of earthing systems
- Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar, disconnectors and switchgear
- Maintenance of high voltage equipment Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
- Receiving high voltage documents
You must have experience working in a substation environment, along with your National Grid Persons Ticket and Lift Supervisor ticket to apply for the role.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £300 Per Day, DOE
