AWC Staff Services are looking for a CAD Technician to as part of the UKPN ED1SON Alliance Project, with their client in Stevenage.
As part of the role, you will be expected to:
- Prepare and update “As-Built” drawings in AutoCAD, ensuring all site modifications are accurately reflected
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, redline mark-ups, and field sketches provided by site engineers
- Maintain accurate drawing registers and documentation control in line with project standards
- Ensure that all drawings comply with UK Power Networks (UKPN) specifications and ED1SON Alliance CAD standards.
- Liaise with design engineers, site supervisors, and project managers to clarify design information and resolve drawing discrepancies.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); experience with utility or electrical network drawings is an advantage.

Previous experience producing as-built drawings for civil or electrical infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with UKPN standards, ED1SON Alliance, or other DNO/utility project requirements.

Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawings under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a project team.

Rate: Up to £300 Per Day
