AWC Staff Services are looking for a Building Fabric Engineer (Engineering and Technical) to join their clients building maintenance team at North Middlesex Hospital. You will demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to changing business requirements, and will establish good working relationships with other team members.
Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Joinery or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry would be an advantage.
As part of the role, you will be undertaking Fire door PPM, Door and window repairs, flooring repairs.
Qualifications or Required Experience:.
- Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Joinery or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry would be an advantage.
- Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Ability to measure, works to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience of working within a PFI Healthcare environment
- Experience with PPM & Reactive Works
- Working closely with a Fire Strategy to ensure the building elements (Doors/Walls/partitions and penetrations) remain compliant in line with good industry practise.
Start: 24th November
Duration: 2 Months (potentially longer)
Rate: £13.50 - £15 Per Hour, DOE
